Hi! Or should I say, brrrr! I tried to go out and take some outfit pictures today, but after just one minute of being exposed to that merciless cold I've changed my mind and ran back inside.

So, there I was, with no pictures and absolutely nothing to write about on my blog, when I remembered I have a hidden stack of pictures in my computer for this kind of emergency.
I took these pictures last spring and they didn't make the cut back then. Now, with no material I guess they will have to do.
I am wearing a vintage beige shirt, a magenta pleated skirt from Paga Shop and Mini Prix shoes.

Hi ! Don't let the smile on my face fool you, I'm actually pretty mad.

Why, you ask? Well, it has been snowing constantly for the last 4-5 days and everything is covered in snow.

I blame Vaughn Monroe for this! "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", was it?

I say: "Make it stop Make it stop! Make it stop!"

I guess there's an upside to this white nightmare though. I took some pictures and I must say the view is breathtaking.

Hi. So, since I seem to vanish off the surface of the Earth ( Blogosphere ) so often and leave you guys wondering what I am up to, I figured I will start a new section on my blog called "Events" to show you that just because I'm not very active online, it doesn't mean I am not a social butterfly( more like a caterpillar, actually )

I will start by showing you pictures from the wonderful event I attended this Monday.
I went to Oksana Russian Hair & Beauty Salon and as you can notice in the following pictures, I had my hair braided there. I was so pleased with the result! I wanted to sleep like a bat just so I won't mess up my hair.

Hi! Well here we are folks, on the very last day of the year. Are you excited? I know everyone is getting ready for tonight's big party right now and I should be getting ready too, but I couldn't exit 2011 without wishing you a Happy New Year.
I want to leave you with an inspirational, motivational quote from Theodore Roosevelt that goes like this: "I care not what others think of what I do, but I care very much about what I think of what I do! That is character! "

The moral here is that you shouldn't make New Year's Resolutions just to please others or to get their approval. If you don't think there's anything that needs to be changed in your life in 2012, then don't make any changes. As simple as that.

Hi! Lovely weather were having. NOT! It's been raining for the past days and I have been a wreck ever since. Very depressing ! Luckily, I had the Absolutely Fabulous Fashion&Vintage Fair Winter Edition to lighten up my mood. There I met the gang, had some drinks, shared some laughs...the usual.

This month's edition had a "all white" dress code which, of course, I didn't follow because turns out that I don't own anything white. Well, other than Tenshi that is.
Note to self- Buy a white, lace dress.

My outfit consists of a Mango green coat, a coral blazer and pleated dress from H&M, a bag from New Yorker and random brand knitted scarf and shoes.

Hi ! This me channeling my inner Little Red Ridding Hood. You might have noticed I am not carrying a basket full of goodies but a multi-colored clutch. This is how I roll.
Now, before I go to my granny's house let me fill you in on what I've been up to these past few days.

On Thursday I went to a fashion show where 12 of the hottest Romanian designers of the moment presented their Spring/Summer 2012 collections. The event, Gala Avanpremiere, was at its 9th edition and it was a great success. Iris Serban, Carmen Secareanu, Silvia Serban, Anca si Silvia Negulescu, Rue des Trucs, Sandra Chira, Natalia Vasiliev, Teodora Baciu, Ioana Ciolacu si Alexandra Abraham left a great impression on me with their amazing designs.

Hi ! I have a confession to make. I feel like these past few months I've been going through a blogger's block. I mean, I had nothing to say and I didn't want to bore you guys with lame speeches and meaningless posts. I wasn't around as much as I wanted in the blogosphere and I neglected everyone.
The lack of inspiration seems to follow me around and I don't know how to get rid of it.

To my surprise, that didn't affect the relationship with my fellow Romanian bloggers because yesterday, when we met at the Absolutely Fabulous Fair , we laughed and talked for hours like we used to.
They were very supportive and they understood the reason for my hiatus. That's why I love this community and that's why I am proud to be part of this wonderful community.

Happy Halloween guys ! I know that the sudden appearance of my post is scary enough for you so there's no need for me to disguise myself. The fact of the matter is that I was never in the mood to celebrate Halloween but I know for sure there are a lot of you out there who enjoy this holiday and I want to hear from you. Hi. Sorry for neglecting my blog yet again, but I had some hectic weeks and I just cleared up my schedule Thank God !
Let me sum it all up for you. I had to finish a three month course, study for the final exam and then, I had to prepare for my master's entrance exam. Not to mention work and running errands. On top of all that all of my favorite shows had their fall premieres. How can one keep up with all that?

At least it wasn't all in vain and my hard work paid off. I will start my master's degree in Human Resources next week.

I wouldn't blame you if you hated me for being such a sloppy blogger. I just hope that my outfit for today's post can make up for my behavior.

So, without further ado, here's what I wore today. Since all I did was study these past weeks, I figured that a preppy look would suit my mood the best.
I wore a cropped, yellow jumper from H&M, a pair of skinny jeans from H&M, suede leather, purple shoes from a store here in Bucharest called Bata and my mom's purple silk shirt.

Speaking of crying, I was on the verge of tears a couple of weeks ago when I realized that everyone had a great time this summer except for me. Even my photographers abandoned me...

Hi there ! So, you'll probably think I live under a rock or something when you'll hear this, but I will let it out in the open anyway. I've just started watching The Vampire Diaries. Shocker, right?

I just wanted to see what's with all the hype over this TV Show and I have to admit, it's pretty good. Can't believe it took me this long to give this show a chance.

I've noticed on some forums dedicated to TVD that there are some pretty heated arguments between viewers about who's hotter: Stefan or Damon. If you asked me, I would say neither is.
Of course this thought of mine can make some people follow me with torches and forks, but I wanted to share it with you anyway.

On a side note, I find Jeremy quite a looker. Guess I have a dose of eye candy from this show after all.

Hi. The first announcement I want to make, I bought myself a watch! I can finally keep track of time and (hopefully) I'll never be late for my meeting with you guys ever again.
It's a pocket watch, it has an antique look and I love it. You should see how fast I reply now when someone asks me "What time is it ?". I can't stop staring at it, it's like I've been hypnotized by it.

Speaking of hypnotizing techniques, I am thinking about swinging my watch in front of the salesperson's eyes when I am shopping and convince him that my item is on sale. It's worth a try, right?

The second announcement, I went a little crazy with the pleated skirts this season. Just last week I bought three of them.
I went to a flea market, one thing led to another and before I knew it, my wrists were hurting from carrying shopping bags.

Anyway, today's outfit consists of a vintage, purple, pleated skirt, an electric blue top from a Romanian brand called Lashez and no name, nude multi-strapped sandals.

Hi, remember me? I feel like a teenager that came home after her curfew and knows that she's going to be grounded by her mom. I am so, so sorry for neglecting my blog for 2 whole weeks.
What can I say in my defense? I know.. I was busy saving the world...Is that a good excuse? No? I thought so too.

Ok, I confess. I was having fun the whole time, meeting fellow bloggers, shopping, eating desserts.
I met with two of my favorite bloggers that live abroad and just couldn't miss the opportunity to spend as much time as I can with them.

Mina, also known as The Faboulista, came all the way from Canada to spend her holiday in Romania. I've had a great time with her, she's hilarious and we almost laughed ourselves to tears. You can see her in the pictures below. She is the one looking like a Greek Goddess. Don't you just lever her white, maxi dress?
In the group picture you can also spot the girls from The Hearabouts, Nookie, Special Koko, and behind the lens was Alice.

The other special guest was Angie, that had the most incredible experience in Bruxelles just before she came to Bucharest. You can read about it on her blog, it's like a scene from an action movie, unbelievable.
I am very glad that she came in one piece and that she was able to enjoy her time here with Simona and I.

My first outfit consists of a green, midi pleated skirt from Paga Shop, a yellow satchel bag and black body from New Yorker and hot pink sandals from Zara.
My second outfit consists of a flower print dress from H&M, colorful sneakers from Nike and a satchel bag from New Yorker.

Hi. I will go hide under my bed as soon as I am done publishing this post, so, excuse my briefness. There's a big storm here in my city and I am terrified. Yes, I am big baby ! Don't judge me !

I wanted to ask your opinion on something. You know I am sneakers kind of gal but lately I was thinking about making the transition from sport footwear to feminine shoes.

If it was up to me, I would only wear sneakers for the rest of my life but I can't go to the office looking like a 80s fitness instructor, right? Damn you Saved By The Bell for having such a huge influence on my style !

So, what do you advise me to do? How can I resist temptation when I am in a store and I spot cool high dunks, low dunks shoes?

Hi. Do you believe in fate? I know I do. I mean..how else would you explain the following story?

It all happened a couple of months ago when I saw this satchel bag at New Yorker and for some unthinkable reason I didn't buy it then and left it there hanging (literally).
It was one of my poorest decisions that season and I felt awful afterwards for not buying it. I went back countless times hoping I would see it there, waiting, but no luck...

As the weeks went by, my hopes began to fade away and I was ready to move on with my life.
Last week, though, I gave it one more try and went to New Yorker. Not only that I found the very last one, but it was also on sale. SCORE ! Or, if I may quote Charlie Sheen here, WINNING !
So, you see boys and girls, there is such a thing called destiny !

Hi ! Congratulations to newlyweds Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock ! I watched the royal wedding yesterday and I drooled over the gorgeous gowns on the red carpet and Charlene's exquisite, Armani, wedding dress. I love these type of events where everyone looks like characters in fairy tales and the prince and princess get their Cinderella happy ending ! I wish them all the happiness in the world !

Speaking about happiness, you know what makes me a happy camper? Sales ! I love shopping this time of year, so many beautiful, cheap, clothes to choose from. I bought this pleated, coral skirt from Bershka for only 17 $ and it has instantly climbed the number one spot in my favorite skirts top.
I wore it with my mom's purple, silk shirt and my braided belt from Pieces. The brown boston bag is from H&M and the wedges are from Mini Prix.

Hi! How was your week? How did you handle the summer heat?
I felt like a melting popsticle the whole week, I am surprised I didn't pass out in the street.

I thought that by wearing yellow I might trick the big star into thinking we are related and that I will be safe from his burning arrows. No luck though...I have to come up with another strategy. Any suggestions?

Hi ! This weekend the team from Absolutely Fabulous organized yet another amazing vintage fair. It comes as no surprise to anyone that many fashion bloggers took advantage of this opportunity to do some shopping and to chat with fellow bloggers.

As usual, the whole gang was at the "crime scene" taking great event pictures, Eve & Sandra , Oliviana, Silvia & Raluca, Nookie signed the attendance sheet.

The event took place at Cafepedia, a very stylish coffee place downtown that had some marvelous wall paintings and a big terrace. I also ate the tastiest croissants there, so, I am sure I will become a regular client.

Hi ! I would like you to meet my newest obsession, a colorful pair of sneakers from Nike. These fabulous low dunks are called " Candy Rainbow ", a very suitable name, won't you agree?
I've never had a sweet tooth, but I would eat this candy everyday !

You're probably familiar with the viral video called " Double Rainbow ", right? Imagine the enthusiasm the guy has shown in the video and multiply it by a hundred ! That's how I felt when I saw these Candy Rainbow in the store. I am telling you, my love for colorful sneakers is deep.

I bought this nude, vintage shirt at a fair this Saturday and I fell in love with its soft fabric and pearl-like buttons. I thought it would be a lovely match for my new H&M pleated, floral print skirt and my nude, no name heels.

Ecochic Vintage Fair & Fashion Show by Mini Prix

Hi ! Yesterday I attended a vintage fair and a fashion show held by Mini Prix with the following theme : Ecochic ( Sustainable Fashion ). I wasn't exactly sure what this concept really meant when I first got the invitation and I am sure there are some of you who are wondering what's this all about, so, let me share with you some information about sustainable fashion that I've got from Wikipedia.

Sustainable fashion, also called eco fashion, is a part of the growing design philosophy and trend of sustainability, the goal of which is to create a system which can be supported indefinitely in terms of environmentalism and social responsibility. Sustainable fashion is part of the larger trend of sustainable design where a product is created and produced with consideration to the environmental and social impact it may have throughout its total life span, including its "carbon footprint". According to the May 2007 Vogue appears not to be a short-term trend but one could last multiple seasons.While environmentalism used manifest itself in the fashion world through a donation of percentage of sales of a product to a charitable cause, fashion designers are now re-introducing eco-conscious methods at the source through the use of environmentally friendly materials and socially responsible methods of production.

I was really impressed with the clothes on the catwalk, the designers did a really good job considering that they only had some old fabrics and ragged clothes available. They've completely reinvented those items and turn them into chic, unique clothing.
I was also impressed with the location of the event, a restaurant called Maxim that had a big, gorgeous terrace and flowers inside birdcages. The event was filled with tasty treats and all visitors received gift bags.

Overall it was a fantastic event, very well organized and I've had a great time catching up with so many of my Romanian blogger friends, Anaivilo, Silvia and Raluca, Ioana, Diana, Teodora, Stella. You can see for yourselves in the following pictures.

Hi ! Remember when you used to sneak into your mom's closet when you were a kid and try on her clothes ? Well, I don't because I was never interested in feminine garments. I was quite a tomboy growing up, so, it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I started developing an interest in fashion. Every now and then I go to my mom's closet to see if there's something I could borrow and last week I struck gold. I found this amazing silk, purple shirt that I absolutely love. I wore it today with my floral printed skirt and my new fuchsia boots and I am curious to hear your opinion on my outfit. Tell me what you think in the comments section below.

Multi colored dress

Hi ! I finally got myself a new camera yesterday, yey ! I spent countless hours these past few weeks reading every single review that was available before I narrowed it down to 2-3 cameras. I finally chose the one that was best for my budget and had all the settings I needed for a great, sharp shot.

I am pretty satisfied with my choice, I still need to figure out how to use it to its fullest potential, but I am on the right track. Tell me what you think, can you tell the difference ?

Now, about my outfit. I've got this multi colored, one shoulder, Roxy dress a couple of months ago from Beso.com , but today was the very first time I wore it. I love the geometric, colorful print, it really is a perfect dress for summer.
I wore it with my multi strapped, purple sandals from Graceland and I was out the door.

Purple boots

Hi. I know I was supposed to post on Saturday, but I went shopping instead..so..sorry for the delay. I really needed a pair of wedges, sandals, to get me through the summer and I searched high and low for the perfect pair.

I didn't find anything that was both stylish and comfortable though and that's when I decided to change my strategy and buy anything that had the wow factor.

My eyes fell upon these amazing, fuchsia Wagoneer boots and I bought them in a heartbeat !
I've always been a fan of Doc Martens boots, but since I can't find any store here in Romania that sells them, I had to settle for this similar, cheaper pair.

Now, about my outfit. I've already shown you this amazing paisley print blazer that I bought from Vero Moda a couple of weeks ago, I plan on wearing it as much as I can before the summer heat kicks in. I still need to find more suitable clothes for it, like a pair of nude pumps or a pair of high waist suit pants, but for now, I will settle for what I already got in the closet. I need to save up for a better camera and hopefully, I will manage to stay away from my favorite stores these next weeks, cross your fingers for me.

Hi ! Congratulations to newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton ! I've watched the royal wedding yesterday ( but who hasn't, right ? ) and I was impressed by the simplicity and elegance of the event. I loved the fact that Kate's dress wasn't too fancy and that it didn't have a very long train because this way the bride wasn't out shined by it. I know that a lot of young women are probably heartbroken now that one of the most eligible bachelors in the world got hitched, but we all have to admit that these two make a perfect couple.

Ok, now, about my outfit ! I was inspired by the lovely weather we had this week and I thought that a floral print dress would be perfect for a walk in the park. The dress also matched this blossoming cherry tree that you can see in the background. The denim vest also has a flower brooch, so, you can say that I am like a walking botanical garden in this outfit.

I am wearing a floral print dress from Stradivarius, a vintage denim vest, a green bag from Promod, a mustard scarf from Aldo and teal pumps from Caravela.

Hi ! Don't I look like a 80s soap opera actress in this outfit? As soon as I saw myself in the mirror, the theme song from The young and the restless played in my head. Speaking of The young and the restless, is that soap opera still airing? I wasn't even born when the first episode aired and it's still going strong. I have a feeling that the show will go on even if humans become extinct. There will be cockroaches on set ready to act.

Ok, all jokes aside now, I am absolutely in love with this amazing red, silk, vintage dress ! I am so lucky to have this little treasure in my closet. The green earrings are just as fabulous as the dress, they are also vintage.

Color Blocking

Hi. I am sure you are all familiar with latest trends in fashion and that you've all heard about color blocking by now. Everyone's giving it a try and I am thrilled to see how people are stepping out of their comfort zone this season.

It's funny how people that were criticizing me for mixing bold colors these past few years are now eager to embrace this new trend just because everyone in the fashion industry gave their approval.
I don't mean to sound catty, it's just that I can't stand hypocrites !

Anyway, I wanted to show you two of the color blocking outfits that I wore last week . In the first outfit I am wearing a blue blazer from Zara, printed harem pants from Vero Moda, a body from Vero Moda and pink, high top sneakers from Skechers.

The second outfit was worn last Thursday, when I was invited to a double event, the showroom launch of Lachatterie and Pixie shoes and the celebration of the very first anniversary of Bucharest Style
It was yet another great occasion to organize a small gathering of Romanian fashion bloggers and I spent the evening catching up with the girls from The Hearabouts, Wonder Fashion, Fashion in my eyes, Alice in Vintageland, Fashezine, Bucharest Style and the fabulous duo from Absolutely Fabulous Magazine !

It was a successful event with lots of stylish people, gorgeous clothes and shoes, sweets and champagne. And as if that weren't enough, we also got a gift bag with Olay moisturizers.
Now this is what I call a perfect recipe for an amazing event ! Thank you all for the lovely time.

Pink skirt

Hi guys, how is your weekend so far? I was too lazy to get up early in the morning today to take pictures for my blog , so, I am going to post some unseen outfit pictures I had on my computer.
These pictures are from last month, when I still had long hair ( sob, sob, sob ) and the weather was very cold. So, the faux fur coat was more than welcomed that day.

It may seem unusual to you that I chose to wear a pink skirt with something rough and manly, such as my boots, but I've mentioned before how much I love contrasts. A skirt that's made out of lace, that has ruffles and that's pink, might make one feel nauseous, right? That's why I balanced my look by wearing a leopard print coat and boots. The trucker cap wasn't part of the original plan, but I wore it because I wanted to tell people that they have been PUNKED ! I am wearing tights, even if it doesn't seem so.

Absolutely Fabulous Fair

Hi. This Sunday I attended the Absolutely Fabulous Fair organized by the stylish duo, Diana Enciu and Alina Tanasa and I had a fabulous time with some of my favorite Romanian Bloggers.

I met with Sandra and Eve from The Hearabouts and they were kind enough to take these amazing pictures for me. I didn't bring my camera and now that I see how the pictures turned out, I am glad I left mine at home because their camera is a 100 times better than mine.

I finally met Anaivilo, from Wonder Fashion who wore the most beautiful maxi skirt ever. She designed it herself, can you believe it? She was turning heads in her outfit and everyone wanted to snap a picture of her.

Costin ,one of the few male Romanian fashion bloggers I know, was also there and although he was in a hurry, he took some pictures with us.
Alice from Dulapul Bunicii , was participating, selling her latest hand made accessories and we dropped by to say hi and to see her stand. She had support from Denisa, from Fashion in my eyes who kept her company the whole time.

The headband that Anaivilo is wearing in the first picture is Alice's creation. Impressive right? She also had brooches with Audrey Hepburn and headbands with roses. You can check out her work here.

The girls from Bucharest Style were on duty, like usual, photographing the event's best dressed. It was so nice to see them again and have a little chat.

Bow Necklace

Hi. You know how I told you that I usually don't wear accessories because I have trouble finding something that I like? Well, last week fortune smiled down upon me and I found the most beautiful bow necklace ever.
It's a bow made out of lace and its color is teal...I am telling you it doesn't get any better than this.
Oh, it actually does ! I forgot to mention it has little pearls sewn onto it.

The necklace was designed by a very talented Romanian young woman, Daria, who was kind enough to send it to me. I really admire her talent, it's not everyday you get to see such amazing handmade items.

Checkered Leggings

Hi. So, like I've mentioned in my previous post there is some good news I'd like to share. A couple of weeks ago I've applied to be a Teen Vogue Fashion Click Blogger and my submission was accepted, so, expect to see more outfit posts from now on my blog.

I also got a haircut, you probably don't see much of a difference, but believe me, my heart skipped a beat when I saw myself in the mirror. I feel like it's so short now compared to last week, I still need some time to adjust to the hairstyle change. You have to understand this fear of cutting my hair is caused by previous traumatic experiences. If I hadn't destroyed all my childhood pictures, I would have shown you what I mean by that. I will give you a hint, bowl cut.

Hi ! I am so excited, today marks my 1st year anniversary for posting outfits on my blog, so, I will take you down memory lane and show you my absolute favorite looks. Before I started showcasing my personal style, I've struggled to find my blogger's voice.

I could tell you that I have always had a big interest in fashion and clothes, but I would be lying. The truth is that I started caring about my appearance in college. I've followed school dress codes all of my life and experimenting with my style was out of the question back then. I felt trapped because I wasn't able to express my creativity and it wasn't until 3 years ago that I've let my suppressed personality out.

I've come to realize that I have a deep affection for bright colors and that I love mixing different patterns and prints. So, I wore everything that I liked. People were staring at me, laughing behind my back, saying how ridiculous I look in those outfits. It wasn't a smooth ride at all, but as time went by, I began to ignore them and dress according to my personality.

At one point I wondered if others experienced the things I have and that's when I started posting my looks. If others saw me embracing my style, maybe they would do the same. You don't have to be afraid of standing out from the crowd and I hope that, through my blog, I can give you strength to be yourselves.

Army Jacket

Hi. I've never been a fan of the army trend, but lately, it has begun to grow on me. I bought this Vero Moda army jacket a couple of days ago because I thought it had some potential.
I knew that by wearing the right accessories, I can make this army trend work for me.

That wasn't the only item that caught my eye while I was shopping at Vero Moda, these printed harem pants are my newest addiction. I just love the fabric and they are really comfy.

I know there are a lot of people out there ( mostly men ) that absolutely hate this type of pants, but I say life it's too short to pay attention to others' complaints. I am done with clothing restrictions, I suggest you do the same. If I may quote William Wallace here "Freedom !!! "

I've tried to get out of my comfort zone a little with this look, not sure if I've pulled it off or not.

Hi. Seems like the whining from last post paid off because the last couple of days were warm and sunny. Spring came to its senses, hallelujah ! I had to take advantage of the magnificent weather, so, I went to a Vintage fair this weekend and I met some of my favorite Romanian bloggers .

Pink blazer

Guess who's back? Back again? Winter is back, tell a friend. Hi guys, sorry for the delay in posting on my blog but I've been on strike against low temperatures.
My demands are simple: I want snowdrops, not snow. I want what's rightfully ours, it's March 5th already and no signs of spring here.
So, who's with me? Let us march against this schizophrenic weather.

Anyway, forget about that. Today should be a day of celebration. Celebrate what, you ask?
My 100th post of course. I've outdone myself, what can I say?. I never thought anyone would be interested in my wacky style and that my posts will go unnoticed.
But I was wrong...The support you've shown me throughout this year was amazing. Your feedback was the one that pushed me forward and motivated me to carry on with my work.
I've received almost 2000 comments on my blog, all wonderful, positive thoughts. It's really overwhelming. ...Words can't express my gratitude. Thank you for being here for me !

Black outfit

Hi. I know this is not something that you normally expect me to wear, but I am going through a phase now and I am trying to upgrade my style. I am aware of the fact that bright outfits are my signature and I am not planning on giving them up just yet.

It's just that I want to experiment and see how I can still wear clothes that I love and have a more mature look at the same time. I don't want to be mistaken for a high school student anymore( not that I mind looking younger).

This was my first attempt to wear a monochromatic outfit. Of course, I chickened out and started crying out for my mommy. I just had to add some color to my look and a purple braided belt and top did the trick. Still, my look was a little plain for my taste. Nothing brings life to a plain outfit like these floral boots, don't you think? I was finally ready to go out the door, I grabbed my knitted snood and hoped for the best.
To my surprise, I felt good wearing this outfit. The change wasn't that bad after all.

Anyway, I want to talk to you about Enstyle, a great community that is going to launch this Monday on Facebook. I received an email a couple of months ago from the founder of this social network, dedicated to fashion addicts, asking me if I would be interested in becoming a beta user of the application before its launch.
Of course I was thrilled about the idea. A place on Facebook were you can publish your looks and receive feedback from people from all over the world? Count me in, I said.

So, I decided to look at the “Skirts” category. I chose the “Forever 21” brand at “Refine by”, clicked on sort by: price low to high and the results were great.

I love the eye catching selection of the Forever 21 women's skirts displayed on the products page.

The skirts are colorful and come in a variety of sizes and lengths that can appeal to a broader audience.

I found one skirt that I really like, this one

and the link redirected me exactly to the product on their website. I also noticed the Add to favorites button that I find very useful for keeping track of items I loved most on the website. At the “ My Beso” section, I can just click on my favorites to see my selection of favorite items.

I like how the description of the product is displayed right next to the picture of the skirt. The only thing that I would add is the size chart for products because it may turn out that your size isn’t available for that product when you click “Go to this store”.

After I was done browsing through the skirts category, I clicked on the "Blazers"category to see what's available over there.

I like how the page offers a wide selection of items that can suite women needs. There are blazers that can be worn at formal meetings and there are blazers that are more casual.

Hi. Do you remember way back when you were a kid and your parents used to take you to the beach to fly a kite? Well, today I was the kite. I have no idea why the wind was so angry with me, he kept pushing me away. I mean, we could have worked out our problems, there was need to get violent.
I am glad I made it out alive and glad I was able to take some decent pictures.

So, remember when I told you I won a Street Style contest at Elle Romania last month? I got my gift voucher a couple of days ago and I picked out this amazing double breasted jacket. I couldn't be happier, I love it and it's the perfect match for my Vero Moda pencil skirt.

Let's see how I get myself out of this one now. I was...I was abducted by aliens and they wouldn't let me post anything ! Those barbarians ! They kept insisting we should visit all the galaxies and I just couldn't turn them down. They may be short and green, but they can be very intimidating.

Yes, I will stick with this story. It makes perfect sense, right? Why else would I be taking pictures on the rooftop? That's where they dropped me off.

Ok, all jokes aside now, you know I've missed you like crazy and if it weren't for this gloomy weather, I would have posted earlier. I promise you that, next time, I won't let them take me away without a fight.

Now, about my outfit. You may say that my outfit isn't appropriate for this time of year, but have you seen the knitted snood? That, my friends, was all I needed to stay warm. Ha, the joke's on you winter, I can still wear my beloved dress without worrying about coming down with the flu.

Hi. So today I thought I should show you some of my accessories since I don't wear them that much and I think they finally deserve their time in the spotlight.
Have you ever met a girl that doesn't like jewelry? No? Well, now you have. I don't even know why I bother buying them... Oh, that's right, because they are sparkly.
First we have a set from Accesorize. Turquoise necklace and earrings, seemed like a right choice at that time. Now, they are just laying in a box because I don't have anything that elegant to wear them with.
Then we have a multi colored ring, that resembles a Rubik's Cube. You probably know why I bought this one, look at all the colors, it was love at first sight.
The cameo brooch was an impulsive buy, but I am planning on wearing it....someday....
Don't give me that look, we all do that, buy things just because we think they look good and then we go home and stare at them for hours trying to figure out what possessed you when you bought it.
The purple braided belt is one of my favorite purchases this year. I already have outfits planned for it, nothing that it's suitable for winter, but spring is right around the corner ( hopefully) and I will show you soon.

Hi. I have a good excuse, really, hear me out. My dog ate my homework. Wait, that's not it. I haven't posted anything in 12 days because I seem to have a problem with insomnia these days. It's affecting my whole schedule, so, I just didn't find the time, or the energy, to take proper care of my blog.
I hope it's something temporary or else I might have to paint sheep on the ceiling.
Anyway, I've been waiting to show you this faux fur vest I bought a couple of weeks ago. I've pictured it right from the start with a long sleeved denim shirt and boots. A faux fur vest or coat can be quite elegant and I wanted to style it different than people would normally wear it, so, I went for a urban look. Acid wash denim leggings and a pair of boots did the trick.
What do you say? Is it better to wear faux fur with elegant outfits, or is it ok to think outside the box and come up with a fun way to wear it?

Looking through my blog archive, I've noticed I did something similar a couple of times.
So, because of my lack of sleep ( lack of concentration) I will repost 7 fun facts about me.

1) I am left-handed and I have the worst handwriting ever.
2) I've been a vegetarian for 4 years now but even before I gave up eating meat I barely ate any.
3) My favorite subject in school was History.
4) I am afraid of the dark and I sleep with the light on ever since I was a little kid.
5) I grew up listening to 80's music and my all time favorite band is "The Cure".
6) My hands are always cold, no matter the weather. Does that mean my heart is warm?
7) I would love to live in Japan or South Korea because I love their culture.

Hi. New Year, new hairstyle. I am bangs free and I hope you'll get used seeing my forehead from now on. So, like I've mentioned in my previous post, I found this amazing black maxi skirt in my mother's closet and I absolutely love it. Good thing I wore it just before the snow came to my town. About my sweater, what can I say? Another great purchase from Vero Moda. The print resembles a flower oil painting, don't you think?

Faux Fur

Hi. I don't know about you, but I never made New Year's resolutions in my life. The reason for this is that I believe when you really want something to happen, you make it happen, PERIOD.
No promises, no wishes, just ACTIONS. So, if there's something missing in your life, why waste time trying to convince yourself that you need to go get it?
I guess we all need reasons to start something or to quit something, but what's there to think about if that's truly the best thing for you?
What I am trying to say is, don't wait for January 1st to quit smoking, or to start exercising, do it as soon as possible if these things bother you. Start Today and see the results Tomorrow.
Ok, that might have been a little too dramatic even for me. Let's move on to another topic.

A couple of weeks ago I entered a fashion contest held by Elle Romania and one of my outfits won. My prize is a Gift Voucher, so, you can imagine how excited I am about this since I love to shop. Thank you Elle and Sprider for organizing this cool contest.

The other exciting news I want to share with you is that one of my outfits has been chosen to appear on a Spanish style magazine called Vanidad (for their online section “The look of the day”)

Hi. How is you weekend so far? I have a feeling you are all buried under Christmas decorations and busy running around in your quest to find the perfect gifts for your loved ones. Ah, the joy that Christmas brings to our hearts... Carols can be heard all day long, the smell of cinnamon is everywhere, it certainly is the most magical time of the year.
So... Why am I the only one not feeling this holiday? I honestly can't recall the last time I was excited about Christmas. I feel like Grinch this time of year, I don't even know the reason.
Sure, I felt betrayed and confused when I found out that Santa wasn't real, sure, I always hated the food on our table, everything was made out of meat and even though I couldn't stand meat I had to eat it because that was the "tradition", but that doesn't mean... Oh, it all came back to me now, never mind.
I kid, I kid, hope that my recollections of Christmas didn't ruin your jolly mood.
About today's outfit, I am wearing another hat borrowed from my mom's closet. I keep finding these amazing clothes at her, I can't help it. Yesterday, for example, I found a maxi black skirt that I can't wait to wear. The biker jacket was a purchase I've made a couple of years ago when I was quite rebellious. I was going to buy myself a motorcycle and travel across my country, too bad I soon realized I don't even know how to ride a bike. Oh well, some other time I guess.

Plaid dress

Hi. Do not trust the Sun and I am not talking about the tabloid. I am talking about the deceiving star that shines so bright. There I was lying in bed yesterday morning, thinking " It looks like a warm day, I should go outside for a walk". Little did I know that what seemed to be a fine day for science, turned out to be the coldest day this year had so far.
I am surprised that none of my photos came out blurry from all the shaking that was going around. I cannot handle cold but that's something that I will have to endure these next couple of months.
Ok, now, about my outfit. The faux fur hat is something I "borrowed" from my mother's closet. I plan on giving it back....in the summer (hope my mom won't read this).
Whenever I wear my green plaid dress with these brown leather boots, for some reason, I feel like a forest ranger. I kept reminding people in the park that they weren't allowed to feed squirrels.

Hi. In case you are wondering, what on Earth am I doing wearing short sleeve in December, don't worry, I am not that crazy. These pictures are actually taken a couple of weeks ago. We had a very warm autumn, but I knew winter won't be kind, so I prepared myself by taking enough outfit pictures to last me through the winter. Ok, enough about the weather report.
You might have noticed in my last posts, that I've been hiding away my bangs. Well, I am giving up on my bangs. My fringe and I had a good relationship till now, but like Nelly Furtado said, " all good things come to an end".

I had to buy hats, caps, berets in order to complete "my mission" and this purple knitted beret is just one of my "weapons"against bangs. Hopefully, I will be able to show you a new hairstyle in a couple of months.
P.S. This month I am feeling festive, therefore I made some changes for my header picture. Hope you like it.

No need to check your calendars, you haven't traveled in time. The year is 2010, it's just that I wanted to try a 60-70's inspired look. The retro print dress was laying in my closet for too long now and since the weather we had in November was incredibly warm, I thought I should give it a try one last time before winter kicks in.
I throw on a mustard scarf and high knee boots and I was ready to" Go-Go" . Wait, something isn't right here, I am not wearing white "go-go" boots and my dress isn't mini. Oh, well, then I was just ready to go.
Sorry I am not very talkative today, but I am watching Mnet Asian Music Awards right now and I can't miss any performance.

Hi, or should I say Rrrrr. Today I will greet you with a roar because I am wearing my leopard print faux fur and it brings out the beast in me. I am just kidding, you know I am harmless. Take a closer look, I won't bite. So, I too was contaminated by this animal print frenzy that's been going on for a while and bought myself a leopard print fur coat.
If you are planning on buying one too, let me give you a tip because a look with an animal print coat it's very hard to pull off. It can draw a lot of attention to yourself and you need to look your best. First of all, you have to make sure that the rest of your outfit is pretty simple, you don't want to look too flashy, so go for basic items. Second, don't wear too much make up and style your hair in a casual way. Follow these simple steps and you are good to go, no one can confuse you with Peg Bundy now.

Over the knee socks

Hi. So, the last item that I had to show you from Topshop was this pair of over the knee socks. They are, in my opinion, PERFECT. The only problem was, my wardrobe wasn't fully prepared to welcome them, as I had no short dresses, nor skirts to show them off. Then I remembered that I had bought this military print mini skirt almost 6 years ago. Who thought that I would still fit in that? I certainly didn't think it was possible until, in a last, desperate, attempt to find something to wear, I've taken it out from the back of my closet. Let me tell you what a great feeling is to see you can still wear your high-school clothes.
Come to think about it, I was quite a visionary back in the days, don't you think? The military fashion trend it's still going strong after all these years but in 2005, no one gave it a chance, it wasn't until 2008 that it became popular.
Anyway, I have been very surprised by the weather we have been having lately. Even though winter is right around the corner, it feels like it's spring here. We have record warm temperatures for this time of year, 20-25 degrees Celsius, can you believe it? I guess I am fine with it, I am not much of a winter person anyway.

Hi. Remember when I told you I won the "Color Up" fashion contest at Hypeed? Due to some unforeseen circumstances, my prize had to be replaced and the kind team at Hypeed offered me the possibility to choose some items from Topshop. So, I browsed and I stumbled across these floral print boots that I found exquisite and I just knew I need to have them. Also, I chose this snood scarf , that has a beautiful mint color. Knitted sweater

Trick or treat? I know it's not Halloween yet but believe it or not, I am wearing a costume. How come, you ask? Well, this is a disguise. Think about it, have you ever seen me wearing something other than colorful clothes? This is something I came up with in order to celebrate Halloween with you. I am just kidding, in fact I wanted to try something new for a change and go for a more mature, elegant look.

This is what I bought these past few days, a knitted sweater and acid wash leggings. I saw something very similar to this poncho-sweater I wore today a lot on various websites and before I knew it I was very eager to buy one for myself.

It's not really my cup of tea though, the only think I love about it are the bat sleeves. Anyway, it was nice to explore a different style and be a little more feminine.
What do you think about my look, do you like it or should I stick to my everyday style?

Hi. Bet you didn't expect to see me back so soon, right? Well, I've been a busy bee these past few days and took many pictures just to make sure I have what to post in case of emergency (aka bad weather). But first things first, I promised to share 7 things about me. I was tagged by Simona from La Boheme, thank you, I will try my best to tell you interesting facts about me.

1) I wore a school uniform for 12 years, so, when I got into college I wanted to make up for lost time and wear everything that I couldn't before. That's the main reason why my style is so colorful and bold.
2) My favorite designer is Rei Kawabuko and my fashion icon is Miroslava Duma.
3) I am a perfectionist and always try to improve myself, if you have been following me from the beginning you've might have noticed that through my blog.
4) My dream job is to work as a fashion stylist for musicians, but I have no idea how to achieve this goal since all my life I've trained myself for a different career. Any tips on how to make my dream come true?
5) I would like to learn how to ride a bicycle.
6) I like to go shopping by myself because I usually spend hours browsing for the perfect items and I don't want to torture others while doing so.
7) Last one. Hm...I do not know what else to tell you, so how about you help me out and ask me anything you want. I will answer you in my next post.

Hi, I am sorry it took so long for me to post, but the weather has been terrible here. I had to wait for the weather to come to it's senses to be able to take some decent pictures. But enough with that, I have many things to tell you and let's not waste any more time. Remember when Yvan Rodic, Face Hunter, was in Bucharest a couple of weeks ago? Floral Print

Hi. The weekend is finally here, I didn't even notice since I was glued to my monitor this week. I've finally decided to watch the most popular TV show since O.C probably, the Gossip Girl.
So far I've seen 2 seasons and I must say it's ok, but I am not impressed since I find it very unrealistic. Those are high school kids that act and dress like they are in their 30's. I can't help but to laugh when I see them blackmailing and talking about hierarchy. I am like, "Awww, how cute, they act tough". Still, I've found some positive aspects, like Jenny's style and Chuck and Blair's romance is pretty interesting and unpredictable to me.
Anyway, I did go shopping yesterday and I found the most beautiful floral print dress ever at Stradivarius. I wore it with my Peter Pan boots and I felt like was part of the setting.
In other news, I am excited to tell you I had a small interview for a Romanian blog, called Bucharest Style. I've been chosen as an inspirational blogger and I can't be happier since it's my first interview since I've started blogging.

Hi. So usually I don't post anything other than my outfits, but this one's worth it, trust me. I bought this bag yesterday from Promod and let me tell you a cute story behind the purchase.
I was at the cash register to pay for the bag and because the price tag was in Euros, the cashier had to scan the tag to find out how much the bag costs in our currency.
I heard her say " This can't be right" as she was scanning several times. So, I asked her what's wrong. Apparently the price was way too low and she was convinced the computer had made some kind of mistake. Then, she scans another price tag from inside the bag and same low price comes on screen. Turns out that the bag was 70% off, lucky me.

Hi, long time no see . I don't know about you guys, but I cannot be in a better mood. Finally, the season I've been longing for so long, it's here. The temperatures dropped almost instantly from September 1st, so, I could wear long sleeves blouses and boots these past few days. I am just hoping that Autumn is here for good and Summer won't make a surprise comeback.

These Timberland inspired boots were on my wishlist from some time now. Sure, they may not be very feminine but they can boost one's self confidence in a moment. I was feeling like a Punk Star walking around in these and I already have so many outfits planned for them. Ok, so it probably comes as no surprise to you that the long sleeve blouse and the leggings are from Vero Moda. I've mentioned in my previous post how much I love this Danish brand.

Hi. Like I promised, here are some of the other clothes I bought during sales. This acid wash denim shirt is from Vero Moda and so are the leggings. I am officially a Vero Moda junkie, I am hooked on everything they design. For me, it's essential to find top quality yet affordable clothes and they offer you just that. Now, back to my outfit. I am in love with these laced up ankle boots so, even though the weather wasn't exactly appropriate for them I couldn't resist and wore them. I believe their color matches the denim shirt and the purple ruffled dress. Please excuse my facial expression, I got up very early in the morning for these shots and I could barely keep my eyes open.

I know, I know, I've been a terrible blogger for not posting anything for over a week. Hope I can make it up to you with today's pictures. I've bought these balloons mainly for this post and I knew just the tee to match them. The girl on the print is also holding balloons, well to be precise those are clouds, but you get the point.
Anyway, aren't these balloons funny? Apparently they are used for punching? How can I punch something so cute, I am not a brute :)) Instead, I took them to the park and by the lake. They've enjoyed themselves and so did I. I needed a place too cool off, I've been melting for the past weeks.

Bubble Girl and I won a Fashion Contest

Hi, sorry for the lack of updates lately but I wasn't in a very good mood this past week. Anyway, I have something very important to tell you. I won, for the very first time in my life, a fashion contest.
You know Hypeed, right? If you don't, you should definitely check it out here , it's a fashion magazine dedicated to real people, with real people. They held a contest a couple of weeks ago for a theme called "Color Up". I decided to send some pictures in and it turns out that I was fortunate enough to win first place.
My prize is a lovely blue sweater from a French clothing brand, Blondie Brune. As soon as the package arrives, I will post some pictures of me wearing it. Now, about today's post. I wore a turquoise dress and in order to make this outfit more interesting I bought a bubble gun. I think I will drive everyone around me nuts, I can't stop making bubbles.

Hi ! Have I ever told you how much I love this pink ruffled laced skirt? No? Well, take a seat it's going to be a while. I am just kidding, I will be short. I love it, the end. Hi, sorry I've kept you waiting, but the weather has been terrible here. On a brighter note, I am happy to inform you I am officially a college graduate and that all went smoothly with my final exam and Bachelor's degree presentation.
Still, I had to make time for shopping and I bought these denim overalls yesterday from Bershka . I was on the lookout for denim shorts, but I am more satisfied with these overalls, they are very versatile. I finally got to wear my Union Jack tee from Zara, it's been sitting in the closet for 6 months now and I think it was worth the wait because this outfit came out great. Hi, hope you are all having a lovely weekend. Mine was tiring, I spent hours searching for some unique pieces of clothing. I found this dress yesterday with the most interesting print and although it's a summer dress it has a faux fur collar. How weird is that? Anyway, the only problem is that it's a little too short for my taste. So, I had to buy some tights to cover myself up. Can't go outside in this town looking like that without having an audience in an instant. The funny thing is I found some checked tights and I remembered afterwards I have a similar Boston bag. So, what do we have when we mix these ingredients, checked tights and bag, cats and rabbits print dress ? Why, Alice in Wonderland of course. The only thing missing is a cup of tea.

Hi ! I wanted to show you my newest crush, a denim shirt that I bought a couple of days ago. You must know that I am not a big fan of denim, I would never wear jeans because I think they are unflattering for my body type. Luckily, I can wear denim vests and denim shirts without worrying about a thing. For example, this denim shirt is perfect for most of my clothes. Today I wore it with my ruffled black skirt and my high-top sneakers. Oh, and how could I forget? My pink shoelace worn as a headband.

It's a Wrap ! No, I haven't finished filming , just that my bachelor degree is done. I turned it in today and in a week or so my college days will be really over. Speaking about wrap, I bought this wrap cardigan today and I couldn't be happier. The fabric is soft, the color is one of my favorites and it's perfect for a chilly summer day, like the one we have here today. I also wore my Vero Moda floral skirt and my nude multi strap heels. Hi. Yesterday I attended my college graduation ceremony and I can say that another chapter in my life has ended. There's nothing more rewarding in life than completing a task and making the first important step in finding your path. In a period of time where uncertainty rules, I might have a rough start but I am sure that what I've learned over these past three years will guide me through.
Anyway, what's there to say about a graduation outfit? I wore a black gown and a cap just like everyone else. Nothing exciting about that.

Finally, I have an excuse to wear all the bright colors I want to and no one finds it weird, I hope. Sure, I went a little overboard with blue, yellow and pink but I think I resemble a lollipop, so, it's cute, right?

Street Delivery

Hi.Today was such a long day, not to mention it was unbearably hot. I spent the day at a street event, called "Street Delivery". A friend of mine wanted to check it out and I decided to join her. I can say I was very impressed by this event, there were many workshops and projects such as, pottery, a library where you could pick a book and read on a comfortable bed and a painting studio. One of my favorite projects was an improvised living room right in the middle of the street. The main purpose of this project was to make people feel at home by bringing sofas, bookshelves and even radio and flower pots on the street. I took some pictures that you can see at the end of the post . Now, about my outfit. Since I had to walk around for hours I wore my multi-strapped purple sandals and one of my favorite dresses, very comfortable since it's oversized and let's you breathe during summer. I also think this dress matches my nude color heels, so I took some pictures of me wearing this too.

Vintage Dress

Hi. I really wanted to show you this grey laced dress that I have from Yumi. Altough I knew this was not exactly the type of dress that can be worn on a daily basis, I bought it anyway. It really is like a piece of art that you want to add to your collection. The collar, the sleeves made out of lace are spectacular. I can even say that this dress should be passed down from generation to generation. Not to mention, it's made in Korea so you can imagine how excited I was when I found out about this. In order to make this a more vintage outfit, I also wore this necklace and earrings set that I have from Accesorize. Isn't it beautiful? Well, so that was it for today, see you in a couple of days ♥

New Camera

Hi, hope you are having a lovely weekend. Mine began with a surprise, I woke up and there was a present waiting for me. It's not my birthday or anything it's just that I've been complaining for a while now that I couldn't take better pictures for my blog and I got this wonderful camera. Last week I've told you about 2 pairs of multi strapped sandals that I bought. Well, here's the other one and I must say I am surprised by how comfortable they are in spite of their high heels. How has your weekend been so far? I spent mine doing some shopping. I bought 2 pairs of multi strapped sandals that were obsessing me for a while now. One of these pairs is the one I wore today. I wasn't sure if I should buy it or not since I am not a fan of nude colors but now I am glad I've made this decision. I've had this idea to use a short simple grey dress underneath this long printed tee, in order to get an asymmetrical outfit. And of course, the look couldn't be complete without my favorite blazer from Zara that I will surely miss this summer..See you soon ♥

Don't I look like a kid going out to a play date? Every time I wear my "Lisa Simpson" tee I remember what a great childhood I had and how I miss those days. Don't get me wrong, growing up is good but these days I am so confused and I feel so much pressure. Hi. So, I received my second blog award from Look 10 and all I can say is that I am overwhelmed. I am honored to be featured on this blog where there are so many wonderful blogs from all over the world. You should check it out, it's worth it. I spend the day trying to figure out what to wear since the weather was too hot for this time of year. I stumbled upon this green dress in my closet and I couldn't remember why I didn't wear it at all. Then I saw the cleavage and it all made sense. Luckily, I had this purple tank top to help me solve this little problem. About today's pictures... you will notice something diffrent from what I usually post. My friend really knows what she's doing and taking pictures with her is so much fun. Thank you so much Alina, you are a sweetheart.

Please excuse my "I studied until dawn face" and I think this is the first time in 5 months I didn't use my straightener. As you can see my hair was "Born To Be Wild". I am wearing one of my favorite dresses from Uttam and my green Converse sneakers. Oh ,I was fortunate enough to receive "The Fabulous Sugar Doll Blogger Award " from Closet full of hopes and Dreams. Hi.So ,if you are living in Europe you probably can relate to what I have to say.The weather is schizophrenic,really.If it's not raining then it's windy,either way I can't take decent pictures.I've had several attempts over the past days but I wasn't satisfied with the results.On a brighter note,I do have something to share ,my new makeup.It 's pretty obvious why I fell in love with these colors,they are absolutely gorgeous.I also wanted to ask your opinion on something,I want to grow out my bangs but I am not sure.So,I posted some pictures of myself without bangs.

Back To Basics

This is something you don't get to see everyday, I am used to mix and match colors, patterns, but I decided to try another approach for these pictures. Just to break out of the routine, I wore something simple for a change and I hope you are not disappointed with the result. Since grey is the color of this season and one of my favorites I decided to wear a grey dress.
