Black outfit

Hi. I know this is not something that you normally expect me to wear, but I am going through a phase now and I am trying to upgrade my style. I am aware of the fact that bright outfits are my signature and I am not planning on giving them up just yet.

It's just that I want to experiment and see how I can still wear clothes that I love and have a more mature look at the same time. I don't want to be mistaken for a high school student anymore( not that I mind looking younger).

This was my first attempt to wear a monochromatic outfit. Of course, I chickened out and started crying out for my mommy.  I just had to add some color to my look and a purple braided belt and top did the trick. Still, my look was a little plain for my taste. Nothing brings life to a plain outfit like these floral boots, don't you think? I was finally ready to go out the door, I grabbed my knitted snood and hoped for the best.
To my surprise, I felt good wearing this outfit. The change wasn't that bad after all.

Anyway, I want to talk to you about Enstyle, a great community that is going to launch this Monday on Facebook. I received an email a couple of months ago from the founder of this social network, dedicated to fashion addicts, asking me if I would be interested in becoming a beta user of the application before its launch.
Of course I was thrilled about the idea. A place on Facebook were you can publish your looks and receive feedback from people from all over the world? Count me in, I said.

If you want to find out more about this, check out Enstyle here
P.S. I uploaded a promo clip for Enstyle at the end of the post, you can see me at 1:11.

Oh, and special thanks to Molly for featuring me in one of her posts. Check it out here

Laura, I'm speechless. First of all, claps for you for the outfit, I love it and the maxi skir gives you a different look. Don't ever give up on colours because total black outfits sometimes can give us a mature look but it's also nice nice to play with colours and I love how you do that.

I checked Enstyle page on Facebook and i can't wait for Monday to see the rest of it. It looks like a fun project.

One other thing, I love how you're wearing your bang, I really love it.

An all black outfit now and again can be very cool and I love yours especially with the floral shoes! The shoes are like a little wink, like- Suckers, I fooled you, though I went black but I'm coming back. Ignore my ranting (but that was super funny, admit it)!:))))))))

I love the look! Definitely a good compromise between keeping your bright colors and achieving a more mature look.

And I adore IU! She's so cute and her songs are lovely, not to mention her voice is amazing. Can you believe the KARA drama? I'm starting to think it's all a ploy for more publicity...

the maxi skirt looks great on you! I can never pull it off, I'm too short! love the layering you did. and lol I didn't know she snubed Emma Watson, poor Emma, she seems like a nice normal lady...

I am a huge fan of monochromatic looks, especially on girls who normally wear bright colours... Dark, bold shades make such a dramatic statement and, beyond that, they look fabulous with your dark hair. Black and purple are my two favourite colours to wear, so I automatically love this look. The maxi is really lovely.
